Open Garagey, choose Capture, and take or select a clear photo of a car. Garagey uses AI to suggest the make, model, year, specs, and details. You can keep the result in your Garage or use Customize to explore a new look.
Getting startedDoes Garagey need an internet connection?
Yes. Identification, AI customization, account sync, purchases, and rewarded credits require an internet connection. Previously restored Garage items can remain available on your device while offline.
IdentificationWhy was a car identified incorrectly?
AI results are estimates. Use a sharp photo with the whole vehicle visible, preferably from the front three-quarter or side view. Low light, motion blur, heavy modifications, partial views, and visually similar model years can reduce accuracy.
AccountsWhat is the difference between Guest and a connected account?
Guest mode uses a private anonymous Garagey identity. Connecting Apple, Google, or email gives you a recoverable sign-in. Connect an account before changing or resetting devices so eligible Garage data and purchased or earned balances can be restored.
AccountsHow does cloud restore work?
Sign in with the same connected Garagey account. Verified Garage metadata appears first, then photos and AI variants restore in the background. Keep the app online if an item shows a retry state.
Plans & creditsIs there a free version?
Yes. Free accounts receive a limited starter allowance and may see ads. Additional captures may be purchased or earned where available. Plus and Pro subscriptions unlock the features shown on the purchase screen.
Plans & creditsWhen do capture credits expire?
Starter and purchased credits do not expire under the current program. Credits earned from a rewarded ad or referral may expire; Garagey displays the relevant expiration before they are used. Terms can change only as disclosed in the app and these Terms.
Plans & creditsHow do I cancel or request a refund?
Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Apple handles billing and refund decisions. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Deleting your Garagey account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.
PrivacyDoes Garagey save my photos?
Photos and AI variants are kept locally and, when cloud sync applies, in Garagey's Firebase Storage under your Garagey identity. Photos are also sent to our AI provider when needed to perform identification or customization. You can remove an individual capture or delete your account.
PrivacyDoes Garagey store my exact location?
No. If you allow location tagging, Garagey converts the precise device or photo location into a broad neighborhood area before saving the capture. Location is optional and can be disabled in iOS Settings.
Account deletionHow do I delete my account and data?
In Garagey, open Settings, choose Delete Account, and follow the reauthentication steps. If you cannot access the app, use our account deletion instructions to submit a verified request by email.
